He
tenido la oportunidad de ver el documental "Los Secretos del Lenguaje
Corporal" con el cual me di cuenta de la parte tan importante que juega en
nuestra vida cotidiana la expresión no verbal. Nos afecta tanto para expresar
una emoción como para elegir un presidente. Ejecutamos estas expresiones
inconscientemente delatando el verdadero sentimiento o reforzando lo dicho.
Pienso es muy importante conocer las pistas del idioma corporal para saber lo
que realmente nos rodea.
Tenía
en cuenta que había muchas expresiones y que se usaban por todo el mundo pero
la verdad nunca imagine que el significado variara tanto o en casos, tuviera
tanta importancia. Me impresiono mucho que en una parte del mundo hablar cara a
cara con una proximidad era algo común pero en otras podría causar un
conflicto. Que pasar por la puerta en primer o en último lugar se ve como una acción
de poder. Todo gesto, sonido y acción tiene su significado aunque estos varíen.
He
comparado las expresiones corporales con los que me rodean y conmigo misma, la
verdad que si existen. Tal vez sea difícil descifrar esta expresión pero es
vital al momento de contratar a alguien, dirigir a un grupo de gente y moverlos
en masas o emocionalmente. Aparte de que tengan sentidos distintos en
diferentes partes del mundo, también de persona en persona. Por ejemplo, a mí
siempre me ha gustado que la gente pase primero en mi casa como una seña de
bienvenida, apreciación y cierto respeto a la visita pero en mi propia familia
hay gente que pasa a la gente como acción de poder. Quieren transmitir
autoridad no pasando primero y como se mostro en el video, no van a pasar hasta
que todos hayan pasado y lo van a pelear si es necesario.
No
se que emoción me despierta al ver este video porque son varias. Siento que es
chistoso como cierta ética tiene tanta influencia en nuestra imagen ante
nosotros y los demás. Me genera decepción porque las normas corporales pueden
causar conflictos pero tal vez porque no nos damos el tiempo para conocer las
distintas interpretaciones que existen para un solo gesto. Por último siento
que es maravillosa la evolución de expresión y el papel que juega en nuestra
vida.
Lo
recomiendo mucho para poder tomar decisiones mas adecuadas sobre personal de
una empresa, juzgar una acción con más campo de conocimiento y un poco de
entretenimiento. Nos podría salvar de un conflicto de vida y muerte, como visto
con los policías, y ahorrar tiempo.

I have
had the opportunity to see the documentary "Secrets of Body Language” by
which I realized the important part nonverbal expression plays in our daily
lives. It affects us to express an emotion as well as to elect a president. We
execute these expressions unconsciously betraying what we say and expressing the
true feeling or reinforcing what was said. I think it is very important to know
the clues of body language to know what is really around us.
I knew
that there were many expressions that were used by everyone but to be honest, I
never imagined that the meaning would vary so much or have a big importance in
some cases. I was impressed that in some parts of the world talking face to
face with a close proximity is common but in others it may cause a conflict. To
go through the door first or last is seen as an action of power. Every gesture,
sound and action has a meaning although these vary.
I
compared the expressions with those around me and myself, and they truly do exist.
It may be difficult to decipher them, but this expression is vital when you
hire someone, to lead a group of people or to move them en masse or
emotionally. Besides, they could have distinct meanings in different parts of
the world, also from person to person. For example, I've always liked that people
who come to my house, go in first as a sign of welcome, appreciation and
respect to the visitor, but in my own family there are people who make others go
into the house first as an act of power. They want to pass last and will not
budge their authority as showed in the video. They will not move until everyone
has passed and they will fight for it if necessary.
There
is no clear emotion on what the video makes me feel because there are several.
I feel it is funny how certain ethics have plenty influence on our image to
ourselves and to others. I was disappointed that the body generates rules that
could create conflict but perhaps because we don’t take the time to learn that
there are different interpretations for a single gesture. Finally I feel the evolution
of expression and the role it plays in our lives is wonderful and majestic.
I highly recommend it to be able to make more
appropriate decisions about personnel in a company, judging an action more filled
with knowledge and to acquire a little entertainment. We could avoid a life and
death conflict, as seen with the police, and save time.
